The Hong Kong based exchange aims to increase the number of new entrants to its platform as crypto to crypto transactions will no longer require AML/KYC compliance.
Gatecoin announced on September 19th 2018, the launch of the new redesigned cryptocurrency exchange platform that it has been working on for the better part of the year. The new system has new improved technological and infrastructure developments to create a user friendly platform to enhance the trading experience of its clients. The redesigned Gatecoin exchange also includes user signup revamp on the verification details.
Gatecoin New Registration Rules For Crypto To Crypto Trading
In the revamp of the exchange, Gatecoin introduced a change for any new registrants who wish to deal with strictly crypto to crypto transactions on the exchange. Unlike using fiat in the trades, new users will NOT be required to provide AML/KYC compliance verification documents in an aim to hasten the express onboarding of clients on the exchange.
The exchange will however require an email verification from the new users to begin trading cryptocurrencies on the exchange. Trading crypto to crypto will be immediately functional with withdrawals of crypto requiring an upgrade of the account of the users.
For the users with a preference for fiat trading, submission of AML/KYC documents will be requires and these account holders will be able to trade, deposit and withdraw unlimited amounts of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) on the Gatecoin exchange.
