The cryptocurrency exchange Gemini is allowing its users to purchase a new basket of virtual currencies that are available on its mobile application. The new service is called ‘Buy The Cryptoverse’ and it will allow users to easily purchase a few different virtual currencies available on the Gemini platform. The information was released by Gemini on December 27 on Twitter.

There are different benefits of having this option available on the app. The first thing to mention is that it will allow users to buy a basket of virtual currencies with just one order. This would reduce times and simplify the investment process. The virtual currencies offered will be weighted according to their market capitalization.
Another positive thing to mention is that users and investors will be able to diversify their portfolio in a very straightforward way. Buy The Cryptoverse is very easy to use and it provides investors with a simple tool that allows them to have access to a wide range of virtual currencies straight from their phones.
A few weeks ago, Gemini introduced the Gemini Mobile App allowing users to have access at all times to their accounts, even on their phones. The announcement was made by Tayler Winklevoss on December 11.
The company wrote on the matter:
“We spent the last three years building the world’s most trusted cryptocurrency platform and today we are excited to extend it into your hands and allow you to engage with cryptocurrency wherever you are and whenever you want.”
Gemini is one of the most popular virtual currency exchanges available in the market. It is currently the 46th largest exchange handling more than $33 million in the last 24 hours. The most popular trading pairs at the exchange are BTC/USD, ETH/USD and ETH/BTC accounting for more than 98% of its trading volume.
Under the tweet uploaded by the company, the main complains were from XRP supporters that were asking support for this virtual currency on the platform. Gemini does not support XRP and it might not do it in the near future.
