Based on a recent post published on Medium, it appears that the TronWallet DApp was founded on the notion of security, which remains a concern that many firms are trying to overcome. In particular, the goal is to allow users to safely sign contracts without having to compromise their keys.
The Founder of Getty/IO, Dio Ianakiara seems to stress the importance of security as well and the necessity to come up with a solution that can secure one’s holdings. Explicitly, Ianakiara stated that,
“I always believed security was a huge challenge in the cryptocurrency world and a big issue, wallets, ledgers and other security devices were struggling to solve. […] If you give your secret key to a compromised wallet, there is a high risk of losing control of your assets and tokens. Compromised wallets are one of the top ways people get hacked and lose ALL their assets.”
As for the technical specs of the TronWallet DApp, it has been stated that the TronWallet was created using the Tron Protocol, along with the involvement of Expo, Node, React-Native, and React. In addition, a list of its features has also been released including login/signup, 2 Factor Authentication, using Tron Vault for offline activities, and much more. Most importantly, the wallet can be used via a mobile device or on a desktop!
Many Twitter users expressed their increased excitement in the TronWallet. Here is a look at what some users had to say:
