According to the Litecoin Foundation, the established partnership between both parties is a milestone reached on its own. More specifically, the Litecoin Foundation has since expressed that:
“This is the first time that a globally recognizable sports organizations has allowed fans to use cryptocurrency to purchase tickets at an event!”
The Litecoin team has also expounded on how beneficial this partnership has been for cryptocurrencies as a whole. Apparently, their previous appearance at Glory 65 and the SportsCenter gave them an immense exposure, amounting to five to ten million viewers per event.
As per the claims made, there are only ten VIP packages being given away with a price of 100 euros attached, which will include a VIP ticket, a signed poster, event t-shirt, stage tour and photo opportunity as well as a meet and greet.
According to NewsBTC, who also happens to have reported on this matter. Glory initially announced its goal of helping with cryptocurrency exposure and adoption in February of this year.
In addition to the partnership with Litecoin, the renowned kickboxing and martial arts promotions company has also given fans the chance to make purchases in Bitcoin [BTC].
This all goes to show the different ways cryptocurrencies can be introduced within society. Once one views digital assets as no less than traditional means of payment bringing exposure becomes possible, which then can serve as a foundation to adoption!
