Gold.IO: EOS Blockchain-Based Crypto Project?

GOLD.IO is scalable, inter-blockchain Decentralized Exchange (DEX) platform, governed by its Decentralized Autonomous Community (DAC). The platform operates on the premise that gold has been and continues to be the store of value from the earliest days of civilization and GOLD.IO seeks to be the standard for its exchange.

The business idea behind GOLD.IO connects to the most important market trends. For instance, stablecoins, which are real asset-backed tokens, are a safe haven for investment in the face of economically challenging conditions.

The need for fully decentralized exchanges, the future of crypto trading, will help avoid major risks that are rampant in centralized exchanges. Fast development of secure custodial wallets and the need for cross-chain communication, all contribute to the improvement of the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem. All these are potential market opportunities for GOLD.IO.

What makes it unique?

GOLD.IO project is unique. The uniqueness, which is the competitive advantage of the project, stems from the opportunity to contain all the gold-related projects that already exist; this offers higher liquidity to one of the most attractive assets.

The platform also embraces the DEX+DAC formula, with all the aspects of the DEX operations defined and regulated by the community itself.

Project features

Perfect Markets: the GOLD.IO infrastructure is unique in terms of value proposition. The platform creates the first efficient and liquid market for gold-related tokens.

Blockchain-grade security: the decentralized exchange structure eliminates all intermediaries and lets the community be the only custodian for all of their gold investments.

Community governance: GOLD.IO operates under the Decentralized Autonomous Community that puts all the power in the hands of its community, arbitrators, and block producers.

Your Vote, Your Power: The community holds the power to vote for the development of any number of multi-purpose sidechains and realize the “infinite scalability” of the GOLD.IO platform.

A Community Exchange platform

  • Built on EOS.IO: the platform is completely decentralized, high-performance, and a sister chain of EOS.IO
  • Free: all possible commissions by default are zero
  • Ruled by the Community: all governance decisions belong to the community, which votes for arbitrators, block producers, listings, delisting, fees, trading policies, and funds distribution.

The ultimate goal

Chronicle I

In the initial stages, the GOLD.IO community will be relatively simple. An EOS-communicating sisterchain is developed with its own equivalents of the following:

  • EOS Core Arbitration Forum known as GOLD.IO Arbitration Committee (GOAC)
  • Own Constitution or the GOLD.IO Social Code
  • Dedicated block producers
  • Proxies
  • Related Ricardian Contracts

All the DEX functionalities will be deployed completely on this chain. Initially, the Community has the freedom and responsibility to vote on issues that shape the system of economic incentives in Generation I sisterchain. This, by implication, will affect future generations.

Chronicle II

As the demand for transactions over each module of the DEX increases and the requirements of sub-Communities begin to differ, voting for next Generation sisterchains that seamlessly communicate between ‘legacy’ chains and other sisterchains will happen. At that point, DEX module-decentralization starts.

Naturally, each of these chains will inherit part of the business logic, laws, and in turn, economics from previous generation chains. Nonetheless, they will serve the needs and wants of different GOLD.IO Communities.
