Hedera Hashgraph Welcomes Sagewise to Build Smart Contract Toolkit
Hashgraph Platform has partnered with Sagewise for building its smart contract resolution ecosystem in order to exchange money, property, shares, or conflict-free way.
A blazing fast blockchain-substitute, Hedera Hashgraph will serve as per request for Sagewise’s testnet (an alternative Bitcoin blockchain, to be used for testing). As the company fulfills its mission to deliver transactional confidence more efficiently and at much cheaper prices.
Sagewise’s mission to help smart contract users quickly resolve disputes and reach consensus is greatly needed in the market, and we are pleased the team is choosing to build on top of hashgraph.

The hashgraph algorithm — a technique combined with protocols — will help Sagewise achieve its goal by providing a framework for quick, fair, efficient agreement. By building a layer of smart contract monitoring, notification, freezing it offers a proprietary SDK to mitigate variables like smart contract coding and evolving situations.
Amy Wan, the Co-founder and CEO of Sagewise said,
“We believe justice should be decentralized, so our objective is to provide smart contract users a toolkit to settle errors and disputes, lest they end up with unintended outcomes. Smart contract losses exceeded half a billion U.S. dollars in value in 2017, so we feel it is integral to address the void in the industry. In order to reach our objectives, we knew scaling was of utmost importance, which is why we decided to work with Hedera Hashgraph. Its technology does not have the technical limitations of the existing blockchain, and provides distributed consensus.”
Founded in 2017, Sagewise is a technology company focused on the efficient resolution of disputes involving the third parties involved and it focuses to work efficiently thus saving time, money and resources. Sagewise has developed a product that excludes brokers and middlemen involved for blockchain users. The company’s proprietary SDK, released in April 2018, provides the tools and infrastructure needed for the effective handling of disputes at any stage in the development and execution of smart contracts, freezing contracts in place while they are being resolved.
Hedera hashgraph is fast as it responds right at the speed of your internet. The platform is built on the virtual-voting consensus algorithm, invented by Dr. Leemon Baird. This algorithm provides efficiency in bandwidth usage, handling hundreds of thousands of transactions per second and verifying over one million signatures per second.
