HEX Innovation Blockchain Healthcare Project Secures $20 Million in ICO Token Presale
Hex Innovation Raise $20 million in ICO Presale
After conducting their presale event over a period of two weeks, HEX Innovation Ltd, a healthcare ICT firm, announced that they managed to realize their hard cap milestone which was set at 100,000 ETH (~ $20 million). HEX is a platform that deals with the development and operation of individual health record management records using blockchain technology.
Before the commencement of the ICO crowdsale, HEX formed a partnership with TPLUS, a Korean medical information system firm and signed a memorandum of understanding with The Korea Association of Regional Public Hospital (KARPH) and Polestar Healthcare. Also, HEX innovation signed a similar agreement with the Malaysian government for a blockchain-driven medical enterprise a deal that has spurred a significant interest in the company's activities from investors.
Sammy Kwok, the CEO of Hex Innovation, expressed his gratitude to the community for supporting his firm’s vision. He added that the complete sell-out of HEX ICO tokens during the presale is sufficient proof that the medical industry is ready for the introduction of blockchain-powered solutions. Sammy concluded by saying that HEX is prepared to start monetizing its business and will continue improving its services to further the expansion of blockchain solutions in the medical sector.
About HEX Innovation Ltd
As mentioned earlier, HEX innovation leverages blockchain technology to provide personal health record management services. HEX is a short form of Health Evolution on the X blockchain.
The personal health records will be primarily sourced from medical institutions and personal medical measurement devices. After collection, the data will be converted into the international standard FHIR message. This assists in maintaining consistency and integrated management of personal health records through a process called ‘longitudinal life record.' On the other hand, data collected from radiological examinations will be converted into the globally accepted Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standard. Besides being used for reference purposes, users can earn cryptocurrency tokens by sharing their medical data for research.
