There’s an obvious frenzy happening in with cryptocurrency these days. At the moment, Bitcoin ha skyrocketed to a value, never before seen or expected. The crowd-funding agency, Indiegogo – has decided to get in on the action. The massive money-maker, has determined it’s in their best interest to milk the industry for all it’s worth.
The crowdfunding company has made some pretty big moves, partnering with some big names to get a jump on the crypto-market. They recently partnered with MicoVentures, they did this to enable investments. They’ve done this to enable investments on Initial Coin Investments, which are all the rage lately.
For those of you, who want to get in on the cryptocurrency craze, because you believe in the value of digital currencies, then things likely just got easier for you. It’s true, because as it’s going, cryptocurrencies are one of the most lucrative investments if worked with correctly. You now have a powerful way to potentially pour money in to cryptocurrency with ease. You don’t have to be an accredited investor, which limits ICOs abilities to scale at a massive level. The first offering that is ready to be launched on Indiegogo is the Fan-Controlled Football League, which is giving a pre-sale for $5 million tokens. They will be released around the 22nd of December 2017.
Unfortunately, the organization, Indiegogo, has a notorious reputation for hosting funding projects that are considered to be less then honest. This isn’t true all the time, but frequently does happen from time to time. Now, they are doing whatever it takes to stay above-board. They are making their ICOs all honor the rules of the SEC. Also, that MicroVentures is a FINRA-registered broker and dealer. There are even promises, the company will build their own investments to guarantee you’re working with a project that is trustworthy.
Indiegogo is clearly hoping that it will become the number one stop for ICOs. It’s relying on it’s popularity to claim an edge over Kickstarter in the realm of cryptocurrency. Of course, there always is the possibility that this could democratize cryptocurrency investments everywhere. Investors will no longer have to wait for lengthy periods of time to invest on an ICO.
Typically, in the past, people had to wait until the ICO went live. Now investors can throw their weight behind projects in their earliest stages of development. This will be one of the first times that people can get involved before an ICO goes live. The largest benefactors of this, will be smaller ICOs that in the past would have problems getting their foot off the ground. Now, it helps to even out the playing field so everyone gets a fair chance.
