House in Australia Sells for 457 BTC ($2.4 Million), But BTC at All Time High Makes It $8.7 Million Home
Binance’s Changpeng Zhao shared on his Twitter page photographs of a modern home. According to the post,
“Highest bid on the house in #BNB. Action is live.”
The purpose of the post seems to highlight that one of the highest bid offers on a home has occurred using the binance coin.

The auction for the home was undertaken by real estate agency Lj Hooker and cryptocurrency firm Trigon Trading. Apparently, many attended the showing and placed bids as well. Eventually, the house was sold for 457 BTC, which is around $2.4 million using the current valuation of bitcoin.
Ethereum World News discussed the sale of the home and then segued into the question of whether this is the next “Laszlo, a Bitcoin Talk user who purchased two purportedly Papa John’s pizzas for 100,000 BTC (now dozens of millions of dollars) in this community’s earliest days?” Eventually, the questioner reached the conclusion of
“no, likely not.”
However, he also suggested that the purchaser may be missing out on the upside, particularly if BTC
“fills the need for a digital gold or store of value.”
