Huobi’s HBUS San Francisco Billboard Meme: “Who Says Crypto is Stressful? I’m 28 and I feel fine”
HBUS, a U.S based subsidiary of Huobi Exchange, put up another billboard in the country causing rumbles across the crypto community. The humorous billboard is situated in San Fransisco and is the second one to be put up by a crypto exchange in the United States.
Earlier in the month, the company put up the first ever cryptocurrency exchange to put up a billboard in the U.S. As is with the recent billboard, humor was a big part of the previous one. The billboard titled, “Evolution of mankind” depicted the evolution of mankind diagrams with the most modern man being HBUS with Coinbase and Wall Street as earlier stages of mankind.
HBUS second billboard on downtown 3rd street, San Fransisco
Situated at one of San Francisco’s busiest streets, downtown on the 3rd street, is the HBUS billboard. The billboard features an old man with headphones on looking surprised with the title, “Who says crypto is stressful? I’m 28 and feel just fine.” The humor in this billboard is well appreciated as the field is perceived to be an investment only the young people can maneuver.
The location of the billboard, right outside the Coinbase headquarters, between Mission Street and Market Street, raises even more humor to the fight of investors to join HBUS.
In his address on the increasing use of humor to capture consumers, the CEO of HBUS, Frank Fu said his team is committed to boldly take this up. Such self-aware humorous advertising is not taken up by most of the current financial institutions which makes it hard to connect with a certain niche in the market.
The company seems to have chosen the perfect time to put up the board as the market faced a small re-bounce in price this week. HBUS will hope the humor attracts more customers to its exchange as it aims to overpower Coinbase to the top spot.
