iCE3X Crypto Exchange In South Africa Adds Support For Ripple (XRP) With ZAR Trading Pair

South Africa’s iCE3X Crypto Exchange Adds Support For XRP

The iCE3X digital trading platform has announced support for Ripple’s XRP token. This means that users can now trade XRP against Bitcoin as well as the local fiat currency, the South African Rand (ZAR).

The XRP token was developed by Ripple for enterprise-grade customers, mainly banks and other types of financial institutions. Its primary use case is proving a dependable and secure means for enabling cross-border payments. The token also reduces the cost and speed of such transactions.

Besides the addition of XRP, iCE3X has been introducing new features to its exchange platform over the past month. One of the notable features is a new authentication functionality that requires users to verify their phone numbers using an SMS notification every time they withdraw Bitcoin from the trading platform. Moreover, iCE3X users can now try out the exchange’s features before complying with its KYC procedures.

Another exciting feature is the instant buying and selling functionality that enables investors to access the various digital assets supported by iCE3X in a speedy manner. In the future, the exchange plans to add support for many other ERC20 tokens.

As of now, XRP is trading at $0.31. With its price falling slightly over the past few days. Regardless, the token is still the third biggest cryptocurrency by market cap and averages $1 billion in trading volume every 24 hours.
