INX Exchange Regulated Cryptocurrency & Derivatives Trading Platform Introduced
INX aims to become a fully regulated cryptocurrency exchange for institutional and retail investors. Find out everything you need to know about this new exchange today in our review.
What is INX Exchange?
INX Exchange, found online at INX.exchange, is a cryptocurrency exchange announced on June 14, 2018.
The exchange seeks to appeal to institutional and retail investors by offering a fully-regulated trading environment.
One of the key goals of INX is to facilitate regulated token sales. The company believes most modern ICOs constitute a security sale. They envision a future where ICOs are still prevalent – but they’re regulated and conducted in controlled environments:
“It is our view that every ICO raising funds from the general public is a security token offering and must be regulated. We envision an evolution to regulated coin offerings (RCOs) trading on regulated exchanges.”
“INX intends to become the main exchange for regulated crypto trading of and listings of regulated coin offerings (RCOs),”
In addition to security tokens and regulated tokens, INX would also facilitate cryptocurrency trading and crypto derivatives trading.
INX will be available to both institutional investors – like larger trading firms and money managers – and retail investors – like small or medium-volume traders.
How Does INX Exchange Work?
INX Exchange aims to offer safe cryptocurrency trading in a regulated environment combined with an easy user experience.
The goal, according to the official website, is to create a “state of the art proprietary global crypto exchange” that bridges the gap between the crypto and fiat trading worlds.
“The INX Exchange will be a platform for the offering and secondary trading of digital assets as securities with the aim of bridging the gap between the newly emerging cryptocurrency trading market and the well established fiat based traditional capital arena.”
In terms of specific services, INX Exchange is still in development – so we don’t know where the exchange will be at launch. However, the website explains that the exchange:
“will offer peer-to-peer professional trading with a full suite of marketplace features and trading products including the ability to take short positions with physical delivery, all in a secure regulated environment.”
