IoeX To Introduce First Blockchain-Powered TV In August
ioeX has extended its collaboration with QUUBE, a subsidiary of ThinkSmart. The two entities first agreed to work together in January. IoeX would integrate QUUBE software into their blockchain network to produce QuuMoney TV, the world’s first blockchain-powered television line.
Starting from Q3 2019, JVC Smart TVs will feature the QUUBE software. The first regions to receive this product will be North America, Western Europe, Japan, Korea, and China.
QuuMoney TV is based on the latest version of the Android TV operating system Android 9.0. Users of this TV will have access to unique content that earns them the Quu Coin. Besides, they will get IOEX rewards for participating in the ioeX network. Quu Coin can be used in paying for a monthly subscription as well as buying TV content. It will also be available for trade in supporting exchange platforms.
Aryan Hung, the CEO, and founder of IoeX, their partnership with QUUBE will assist the network in attaining the resources needed in developing smart lifestyles. He added that the two companies intend to subtly implement blockchain technology into daily livelihoods in a way that benefits their consumers.

In addition, IoeX will integrate the DID functions of Elastos into QuuMoney TVs. This solution has previously been used in securing login credentials as well as private data in a voting system belonging to a leading political party in Korea. DID is one of the many DApps built on Elastos by the ioeX team, which has pledged to release regular updates for QUUBE TV.
