IOST Blockchain Infrastructure Introduces Flagship dApp Collaboration Program
IOST The Blockchain Infrastructure Introduces A dApp Collaboration Program
IOST was designed as a blockchain infrastructure ecosystem for use in providing computerized facilities that have been backed by trusted tasks, for undisputable bookkeeping, as well as for decentralized web applications. The ecosystem was created for adoption by enterprises and global institutions and boasts of a leadership team comprising of tried and tested platform founders.
Its leadership team is backed by a group of global financiers who are led by Matrix and Sequoia Partners. In addition, it has a personnel team that comprises of more than fifty professionals well-versed with the blockchain infrastructure, and who are spread across its seven offices located in different parts of the world.
IOST Vision And Future Plans
The infrastructure officially started operating in the first quarter of 2018. From there, the platform has been committed and focused to ensure that it executes its strategy in full as well as deliver on the roadmap that it had settled upon during its inception.
For the infrastructure to succeed in achieving its plans of introducing a feasible blockchain with real-world uses to the mainstream, it started by identifying four important objectives. These objectives have to be achieved for the platform’s plans to become a reality. They include:
- Creation of the base layer network
- Establishment of a community
- Creation of real-world uses. The platform needs to launch applications that can fulfill its real-world uses for it to achieve this particular objective
- Introduction of its Mainnet. This is to be followed by the establishment of a dapp environment, as well as the acquisition of users.
The platform announced the beginning of its third phase on November 14, 2018. While doing so, it also released details of how it intends to come up with real-world uses for its decentralized web applications. This is to be done through what the platform is calling the Flagship Dapp Partnership Program.
The program is expected to culminate in the creation of decentralized web applications that are to be launched alongside its Mainnet in the first quarter of 2019. This program will also be used to consult with other companies and organizations that are likely to benefit from the adoption of blockchain technology.
Consultations will assist the program to identify the most common problems as well as ways in which its applications can best be put to use. As the process goes on, the program will continue to test the completed applications with its partners as it also seeks feedback from the industry insiders and crypto community.
Industries And Expected Real-world Use Cases
The flagship program is expected to focus on different industries as it seeks to identify ways in which blockchain can be employed in each. Some of the categories being considered include:
To guarantee transparency in the way the charity operations are carried out as well as the manner in which the funds are put to use.
It will be used to prove authenticity as well as help put an end to forgery. It can also be used for record keeping and in ensuring that artists’ payments are processed on time.
