IOTA Partners With Porsche to Work Together on Project 4

IOTA and Porsche Digital Labs will be working together on the Program 4 project, which was envisioned by Startup Autobahn.

Startup Autobahn decided to add IOTA, Porsche and other start-ups in order to work on an innovation platform intended for smart mobility. The company was founded by Daimler, Plug and Play, University of Stuttgart, and Arena2036, and focuses on innovative technological projects about future mobility.

A tweet released by IOTA News on May the 5th reads as follows:

IOTA is one of the most important blockchain networks all over the world and it is not the first time that it announces a partnership with a car maker. In the past, it announced that it was working side by side with Volkswagen in order to plan the future of smart cars and decentralized platforms.

IOTA is a next generation platform that aims to enable interoperability between all devices. The company provides a network for payments and communication between different technologies based on the Internet of Things (IoT).

Currently, IOTAs token known as MIOTA is one of the most important in the market – currently is the 9th by market capitalization. Each MIOTA token is worth $2.33 dollars and the network has a market value around $6.48 billion dollars.
