In addition to just holding cryptos, the wallet will also allow users to follow the latest news, use tracking tools, check on market data, and even the ability to use multi-chain block explorer.
In addition to the announcement of the wallet launch, the company's founder, Di Iorio, also shared the wallet's goal and ultimate aim. According to him, the situation with cryptos is quite similar to the early days of the internet. It was nearly impossible for anyone except for the most skilled users to use the web, until the web browsers showed up.
Considering the situation, the company decided to create a wallet that would act like a web browser for the cryptocurrency. That way, everyone will find it much easier to follow and easily manage cryptos, as well as realize and adopt all the benefits that crypto and blockchain technologies can offer.
The company has even more products in plan
For now, Jaxx is Decentral's biggest and most important product. However, the company doesn't appear to be planning to stop once the wallet is fully launched and available to the regular users. Instead, they have already announced several other releases that are all expected to come out by the end of this year.
Those include the firm's own cryptocurrency called JXX, which will be used for creating a reward system for the wallet, as well as a new portal for blockchain information called Decentral Academy. The portal will provide users with an unbiased information regarding the blockchain technology, so that more and more users can develop an interest in it, and properly inform and educate themselves of the technology's full potential and capabilities.
As for Jaxx Liberty wallet, at the moment, it is available for Windows, Android, and iOS. Additionally, the wallet can be obtained as a Chrome extension as well, for those who prefer to use it as part of their in-browser experience.
