John McAfee Declares Death of the Bitcoin Bear, Confirms the Hibernating Market Slumber is Over
John McAfee, one of the most popular figures in the cryptocurrency space, declared that the bear market is now over. He said that in a recent Tweet that shows Bitcoin’s price surge above $4,800.

McAfee seems to be very happy and excited about the end of the current bear market. He said that everyone has “trashed” him two weeks ago when he said that the market turned. This is why he did not mention anything and kept his “mouth shut.” Nonetheless, he now repeats and confirms what he said a few weeks ago “the market has now turned.”

Bitcoin moved at the beginning of April from $4,150 up to $5,100 in a few hours. Later, it stabilized around $4,800. When Bitcoin’s price surges, investors increase their attention on this asset. People are now trying to understand why the digital asset surged in the way it did.
There are several individuals that are completely excited about this new bull market in the cryptocurrency space. One of them is Alistair Milne, a recognized Bitcoin investor and entrepreneur.
It is worth remembering that McAfee has predicted that Bitcoin would reach $1 million by 2021. Although he first said that Bitcoin was going to reach $500,000 he then changed his prediction and moved it to $1 million by December 31st, 2020.
At the time of writing this article, Bitcoin is being traded around $5,140 and it has a market capitalization of $90.85 billion. Most of the virtual currencies in the market are registering very large price increases in the last 24 hours.
Among the top ten, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC) and Cardano (ADA) are the biggest winners registering price increases of 53%, 31% and 21% respectively.
