John McAfee Says That He Knows Satoshi Nakamoto’s Identity; ‘Reveal Yourself or I Will’
The whole of the cryptocurrency industry is based on very few rules, but they exist, nonetheless. The transparency of the blockchain is a priority, along with its immutability to keep the ledger honest.
However, there is a certain level of anonymity required to keep decentralization. After all, decentralization is about not having a single entity ruling over a massive group, which Satoshi Nakamoto achieved through the creation of the Bitcoin.
The public has not been given the identity of the Bitcoin creator at this point, even ten years after the token launched. The whitepaper was explicit in ensuring that the coin is ruled by those who use it, rather than one person with too much power. There have been a few theories about the true identity, and Craig Wright has famously claimed to be the true Satoshi. However, the evidence has not really led to a concrete answer.
In light of the recent activity of Wright’s legal actions against those who call him a “fraud,” along with the recent delisting of Bitcoin SV from multiple exchanges, John McAfee is coming forth. He added himself to the massive group of people that have said that Satoshi is absolutely not Wright, rhetorically asking, “Have you no shame?”
Enough is enough! There at least a dozen crypto adherents who know the true identity of Satoshi. I can assure you, 100%, it is NOT Craig Wright. This absurd claim of Craig's is incomprehensible. Mr wright: Have you no shame? Seriously sir! Have you no shame?

In a subsequent post the same day, McAfee even asked what kind of “idiot” would even be tricked by the lie that Wright is Satoshi. He implied that this concept alone is enough to judge BSV as a scam.
I hate to sway a poll but what idiot would believe that Craig Wright is Satoshi and therefore BSV is not a scam? If thete ever was a scam it is BSV! https://t.co/Iokb3L4qgE

Clearly, McAfee just could not free himself from the frustration of what has been going on with Wright lately, because the tweets continued. Finding that TemradeSatoshi, a crypto exchange, is supporting BSV, he proceeded to call for a boycott.
The TemradeSatoshi exchange is actively supporting BSV. Can someone organize a boycott of Tradesatoshi? The crypto community is being severely harmed by the exumistence if BSV. It must disappear.

Then, he started ranting on BSV some more. He mentioned that BSV itself claims to be “Satoshi’s vision,” which is where the abbreviation comes from.
However, he explains that the creation of Bitcoin was exactly what Satoshi intended, with nothing more and nothing less. He jests that, if BSV is actually the enactment of what Satoshi wanted:
“then either Satoshi is the worst communicator in the world, or Craig Wright, Calvin Ayre, and BSV are frauds.”
BSV claims it's Satoshi's real intent, yet the facts: Satoshi's white paper was implemented to a "T" in BTC. Nothing left out. Nothing added. If BSV was his true vision then either Satoshi is the worst communicator in the world, or Craig Wright, Calvin Ayre and BSV are frauds.

Finally, the frustration and desire for truth reaches its high point. McAfee expresses that he wants the mystery to end, saying that the whitepaper’s author resides in the United States and that he plans to keep offering clues until he reveals himself.
The "Who is Satoshi?" Mystery must end! First: It is NOT the CIA nor any agency of any world government. It IS a collection of people, but the white paper was written by one man, who currentky resides in the US. If he does not come forward these narrowings will continue.

Minutes later, he follows the post by saying that he has stood idly by and has “protected the identity of Satoshi.”
However, with the rise of “imposters,” McAfee said that it is time to stop. In order to clear the air, he proposes two ways that this whole drama will end – by revealing Satoshi himself, or by continuing to reveal clues until Satoshi tells the world who he is.
I protected the identity of Satoshi. It's time, though, that this be put to bed. Imposters claim to be him, we are spending time and energy in search of him – It's a waste. Every day I will narrow down the identity of Satoshi until he reveals himself, or I reveal him.

Within minutes, it becomes apparent that the followers of McAfee have mixed opinions on this exposure. Some people commented on the hope that this topic would have already faded from the cryptocurrency space.
Everyone last week: "Finally, the Satoshi larping is over"@officialmcafee: *Ahem*

Others asked if McAfee was Satoshi, which he quickly confirmed that he is not, while quickly dispelling that “we are all satoshi” as well.
No

plot twist..we are all satoshi

Another commenter, CryptoSpawn, brought up the idea that it may be best for Bitcoin’s creator to remain the secret and the mystery of the “anonymous Satoshi.” But, again, McAfee said no.
No sir!!!!

With the comments still rolling in, McAfee commented on the “flack” that he was receiving for pushing the identity of Satoshi to be exposed.
However, he points out that the lack of clarity is only perpetuating the problem of others claiming to be him wrongly. He pointed to Wright’s “fake claim” that led to the damage inflicted on BSV.
Wow!! Im getting flack for forcing Satoshi into the open. Please see: the "not knowing" is allowing people to falsely claim the title. This wreaks havoc. For example: Craig Wright's fake claim to be Satoshi is fully responsible for the BSV scam which hurt us all.

His most recent post, at the time of this article, was asking how he knows the identity of Satoshi at all.
He pointed to his company that has done an excellent job of thwarting hackers, adding that he “had to know hacking,” but not giving much justification to how he knows about Satoshi.
How do I know about Satoshi?
Yes, I drink, use drugs, chase women, run from the law – which I have done since I was 19. But it does not obviate the fact that I created a great company whose focus was stopping hackers. I had to know hacking. I am still John Fucking McAfee,
