An unfortunate event for the fans of John McAfee has occurred recently. According to his own tweets, John McAfee will not be participating personally in the Blockchain World Conference anymore. Instead, McAfee will only live stream his participation in the event from an undisclosed location at 11:00 a. m. on the event’s official timeline.
McAfee has stated that the decision not to appear on stage was not his own. According to him, the event organizer’s received a number of credible death threats against McAfee, so they decided to cancel his appearance on the event to protect the physical integrity of McAfee and of the people that will be in the event.
I have been asked by the Blockchain World Conference organizers to cancel my live appearance due to fears of audience, and my own, safety. I will be live streaming from an undisclosed location at 11:00 AM. https://t.co/hUhoKEptEI

Death Threats To McAfee
This has not been the first time that John McAfee has received death threats recently. Just last month, he sent a picture from a hospital bed on Twitter claiming that an attempt on his life had just been made. According to him, he will also no longer promote ICO due to “SEC threats”.
The truth is that a lot of people hate McAfee. A notorious internet troll and always offering plenty of investment advice (that not always is very good), he has made plenty of enemies by being a blockchain advocate.
At the moment, we have no specific information about the “credible death threats” that he recently received and that made the organizers of the event decide to cancel his appearance.
