Justin Sun Announces Tron (TRX) Accounts Exceed EOS Blockchain Amounts
Since Tron’s MainNet launch, which took place well over two months, a recent statistic showed that its accounts have exceeded that of EOS’ by 1861. CEO of Tron, Justin Sun – who’s also known for being vocal on Twitter on every milestone attained – shared the news in a tweet that went as follows:
#TRON MainNet accounts have surpassed #EOS. 12:00pm, September 4, 2018, according to https://t.co/YKDdSgzLyV and https://t.co/lq47uq7vQo, #TRON MainNet: 301604 V.S. #EOS: 299743. As clearly visualized above, EOS accounts amount to 299,743, which is slightly less that Tron’s total of 301,604, as of Monday, September 4. This is not the first of Tron’s accomplished attempts, as its recent launch of the Tron Virtual Machine (TVM) was welcomed by DApp developers and Ethereum-based projects, which can choose to sync to Tron whenever they please to.
According to Sludgefeed, Tron also prospered in beating out Ethereum, by reaching approximately 40 percent of total daily transactions. This is also big news for its community given the fact that it has only been a little over a year since Tron’s existence.
Moving forward, Tron plans to release “TronWallet”, which the team involved describes as an “open source, secure, beautiful simple yet powerful p2p crypto wallet”.
Despite this very positive news, based on the statistics found on CoinMarketCap, Tron managed to drop one position down to 13th position with EOS still sitting at 5th. In addition, the former’s token price is about USD$0.02, which is slightly higher than its stagnated price of USD$0.01 for the past couple of weeks. EOS has also seen a slash in prices, as its token is currently valued at USD$6.49.
