Tron In The News: BitTorrent Acquisition And Possible Partnership With Baidu
If you follow crypto news, you have probably seen some news bits about Tron. The company was only a promise before the launch but it was able to really carve its place in the market very well. The company has started partnerships with several important companies, for instance, including giants like BitTorrent, which was the most important acquisition for the company.
Other important partnerships include Pornhub, one of the largest porn sites in the world, which can also get a significant reach for the Tron Network.
One of the most exciting rumors about Tron recently is a partnership with the Chinese giant Baidu, which is China’s Google, basically. It should be noted, however, has neither Baidu nor Justin Sun has formally revealed the partnership with Baidu, but the rumors that this is happening is very strong right now.
If the partnership between the two companies is actually true instead of being just a rumor, there are reports that it might not involve the blockchain technology but cloud computing, which Tron has been reported to be acquiring lately.
Also, Justin Sun has appeared in the news after Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of the famous Ethereum network, and Nouriel Roubini, the famous economist who predicted the 2008 market crash, were offered $1 million USD by Sun to discuss their differences.
