Justin Sun Talks About Upcoming BTFS, BitTorrent Speed And Lunch With Warren Buffett

The CEO and founder of Tron, Justin Sun, has made the news recently after he decided to lunch with the richest man of the world, Warren Buffett. During a recent interview with Crypto Love, Sun talked about the lunch and several of the current plans that the company has.

According to him, the main focus of the company right now is the lunch of the Sun Network, which is aimed at being a sidechain that will exist alongside with the Tron blockchain and will be mostly used for scaling purposes.

The CEO affirmed that the testnet of the Sun Network have been launched recently and that it can bring several new possibilities to the market and help to make the entire ecosystem much more stable and powerful.

According to Sun, after the launch, it will be a lot easier for people to create decentralized apps (dapps) on top of the Tron blockchain. He also highlighted how the dapp industry is currently a very lucrative industry and one of the most important ones for the Tron network.

The reason why it will be so much easier is because less TRX tokens and energy will have to be spent to make the products operational.

He also talked about BitTorrent Speed, another very important product that is being offered by the Tron Foundation right now.

With BitTorrent Speed, people will be able to transfer several filed and to earn crypto by doing so, which will make the seeding much bigger and enable faster downloads for the people who use the system.

Sun affirmed that this will be very important to the BitTorrent network, which is said to have over 100 million users. This, he believes, will help to propagate the mass adoption of the platform because torrenting will be considerably more reliable and easier than it has been so far.

Sun Talks About Lunch With Warren Buffett

During the video interview, Sun was also talking about his recent lunch with the famous investor Warren Buffett. According to him, Facebook’s involvement with crypto was responsible for being considered important in order to make crypto more mainstream, but people need to continue with the current efforts in order to make the crypto world really be well-known internationally.

He also shared his “first secret” by affirming that you need to look at your community in order to have a product that works. He affirmed that one day in the crypto industry can see as much innovation as one year in the traditional industry, so companies have to be fast in order to keep up with the times.

Sun also talked about Buffett and his dislike for BTC. According to him, the main reason why the investor is not keen on cryptos is because he was only exposed to BTC so far and he is not really updated, too.
