Kanye West Sparks Up The Cryptocurrency World With a Single Tweet
If you know Kanye West, you know that he is prolific polemic when it comes to attacking ideas and reality constraints while at the same time raising awareness on new ideas, concepts and all kanyeisms (future 2024 president?). Almost anything that Kanye says these days ends up blowing up on social media and because of this, when he tweeted about cryptocurrencies, the blockchain world (at least in social media) went on fire.
If you want to see Kanye West’s tweet, you can see it here. It is amazing that a single tweet with a single word “decentralize” can get more 40 thousand likes and 10 thousand retweets. Many people seemed to support his tweet on social media or to make jokes about it.

It seems he was only getting started down the path of a ‘trustless society' concept. A few short days after his decentralize tweet, in rather interesting fashion, brought up bitcoin, dollars, Harriet Tubman and Michael Jordan all mixed in together shortly right after?..yeah, its worth a listen.
The Interview: “Kanye And Charlamagne Bitcoin Mention”
May 2018 discussion about all things Kanye and bitcoin got a brief headline in another viewing spectacle from Mr. West. Take a listen in on the action below.
In popular interview with Charlamagne Tha God, Kayne mentioned:
“I wanna push future concepts. You know when I saw Harriet Tubman on a $20 bill. That is the moment I felt like using Bitcoin. It’s like those slave movies. Why do you gotta keep reminding us about the slavery? Why don’t you put Michael Jordan on the $20 bill?”
That’s not all, though. While Kanye West’s tweet has gained a lot of attention, his recent interviews to the US mainstream media shows that his support goes farther than a few tweets. On an interview on May 1, the popular singer stated that the $20 dollar bill reminds him of slavery because of the picture of Harriet Tubman on it.
If you do not know Harriet Tubman is, Tubman was an American slave, political activist and abolitionist. The spoke about “slave movies” and how they always remind him of slavery, which is something that he does not like. “Why don’t you put Michael Jordan on the $20 bill”, he asked on the interview.

Kanye thinks that Bitcoin is a decentralized, non-political and neutral currency, so it can definitely be a good alternative to fiat currency. He seems to believe that Bitcoin is the future and also unavoidable, so it should be backed. We should be thinking about the future, not the past, Kanye affirms.
And yes, this is the rebirth of the KanyeCoin. Let's stay woke to Kanye's bitcoin, cryptocurrency and blockchain-driven upcoming streams.
