Kodak has released a blockchain-based document management system in a recent conference in New York. The information was released by the company in a press release a few hours ago. According to the press release, Kodak Services for Business was the host of this two-day conference.

Kodak Presents Expanded Solutions Portfolio at Innovation Conference 2019

The new additions made by Kodak include Scan Cloud, a solution that will be processing data from anywhere, and also KODAK Document Management Platform, which is going to be using distributed ledger technology (DLT) to ensure the safety and the security of information.

At the conference were present different speakers such as Asim Qureshi and Ken Mei from Kodak or Giandri Machado from Compass data. Other speakers included Gabriel Romano from NT Advisors and Tom Ericson from CoreIntegrator.

Ivan M. Bou, Director of KODAK Servies for Business, commented:

“The Kodak Innovation Conference brought together many of our most important stakeholders, and the reception to our new expanded portfolio was overwhelmingly positive. We are looking forward to working together with our partners to grow our business by offering truly differentiated solutions.”

Smart Cities was also a topic discussed at the conference. Cutting-edge technology is currently being used to improve the quality of life of many individuals living in urban areas. With the latest advancements in technology, it is possible to enhance public services and infrastructure.

The firm has already established a partnership with RYDE Holding in order to build an image rights platform. The goal is to protect copyright and help photographers monetize their works. According to some reports, the beta test of the KodakONE platform generated more than $1 million in licensing claims.
