Latest Tron DApp Report: 24-Hour Trading Volume and Smart Contracts Have Risen Significantly
Tron is growing a lot this year. There is no doubt that the decentralized ecosystem is having a great 2019 and we can see that in the latest weekly report published by the Tron Foundation. According to it, 24 new smart contracts were created in a single week and the 24-hour trading volume is growing a lot.
Justin Sun, the founder of the Tron Foundation, affirmed that the DAU went up 10% this week while the number of transactions went up by 20%. Now the company has over 900 smart contracts, too, as well as 14 new games that were added to the list of tokens, most of them gambling apps.
The number of smart contracts has increased by 24 compared with last week. 24h trading volume and DAU are climbing up steadily. Specifically, DAU went up 10% and 24h transaction number increased by 20% compared with last week. #TRON $TRX #TRX https://t.co/5jFEAzHnVk

It was certainly an eventful week this time. The number of daily transactions went to 1,326K and and the daily users to over 50,000. The report on the user experience spectrum also touched on the fact that two different games were very popular with the community this week.
The node count of the company was also reaching all-time highs. At the moment of the report, Tron had 1357 nodes online, going up 250 nodes in only a few days. This proves how quickly Tron is being adopted.
Another important aspect of the report was that Tron started a partnership with QKL123. This is a popular data site and it has finally included Tron in its markets, which is a great sign for the expansion of the ecosystem this time. With more exposure, Tron could be getting nearer to reach its objectives.
It seems that Tron just keeps growing these days. Will the company be really able to surpass Ethereum eventually or will it only become the king of gambling apps and nothing more? It is still too early to make any accurate predictions about the future, but Ethereum certainly has a strong competitor if the numbers keep going up.
