Latin America Bitinka Bitcoin Exchange to Perform Updates for Lightning Network and Tether Integrations

Bitinka, which is a bitcoin exchange based in Latin America, had just gone ahead to announce that from about 4:00pm GMT-5 of March 26th, the exchange development team of the platform will be performing an update, this will be to the Bitcoin wallet, BTC.

This is all part of the Tether, which is the USDT, together with the Lightning Network referred to as the LN integrations.

The time and the date that has been indicated by the company is mandatory that all the users that are on the exchange to ensure they have generated a new address that will be used from their bitcoin wallets.

It is so that they are able to make deposits of the BTC to the exchange platform seamlessly.

It is important to note that on the set date March 26th, all the deposits that will be made to the previous address might not get registered on the Bitinka wallet. Thus, it is essential to take the necessary steps as advised by the company.

What to know about the Bitinka platform?

The platform was founded back in 2013, and it has been designed as a crypto and Bitcoin exchange that has been able to have a presence in Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru.

The exchange has been designed in a manner it is able to allow easy selling and purchase of the Bitcoin in about nine different currencies that are spread across Europe and America.

It is the likes of the Nuevo Sol, the American Dollar, Boliviano, the Argentina Peso, Colombian Peso, the Real, Chilean Peso, Euro and Bolivar. Soon we should see the Indian Rupee, the Mexican Peso and the Hong Kong Dollar trading on the platform.
