Cryptocurrency Wallet Manufacturer Ledger Launches New Software Known as ‘Ledger Live’
One of the most important hardware wallets manufacturers in the market, Ledger, has launched a new application for Ledger devices – including the Ledger Nano S and the Ledger Blue – that is known as ‘Ledger Live.’ The information has been released on July the 9th by Ledger in a blog post.

The software is an all-in-one companion application for the Ledger device that is able to run on Windows, Mac and Linux. The main intention is to deliver a feature-packed and be user friendly to experienced and newbie users in the crypto world.
Ledger Live provides a device management and individual crypto assets in one place, which totally replaces the old system of multiple Chrome-based applications.
The company explained about it:

Among the new features we find the following:
- Simple onboarding: it is very easy to set up a Ledger device. With this new feature, existing users can import their accounts into Ledger Live in just a few clicks.
- Multi-Accounts: you can access to all your cryptocurrency accounts from one place, and it is not necessary to change applications for the currency you need to use.
- Real-time balance: It is possible to check the value of the assets with real time markets.
- Secure Transactions: It includes on-screen guidance and transaction confirmations to help ensure that the money is going or coming from the intended sender and recipient.
The main intention behind this update is to make secure management of cryptocurrency assets accessible to everyone. With this release of Ledger Live, the company wants to compare itself and the user experience with the best consumer applications in the market.
At the moment, ERC-20 token support is not available in this version of Ledger Live, but in the future it will be included as part of regular updates. Furthermore, Ledger will be working in order to introduce new features and updates.
It is important to mention that important technology giants, including Facebook, Google and Samsung, are interested in investing or partnering with the Ledger company. These enterprises want to participate in a second round of Series B funding that would let them be part of one of the most important crypto companies in the Europe and the world.
