Ledger Nano S Color Launches As A Multi-Colored Cryptocurrency Hardware Wallet
Ledger Introduces Nano S Color – A Multi-Colored Cryptocurrency Hardware Wallet
Users of Ledger’s Nanos S digital currency hardware wallet can now access the device in several colors. According to the company, this introduction is aimed at simplifying the storage of multiple digitals assets, as well as improving aesthetics.
The new wallet is known as Nano S Color and will be available in a variety of colors, including black, jade green, flamingo pink, lagoon blue, and Saffron yellow. Minimalists can also go for the option with a transparent casing.
The change, however, is only external. Nano S Color bears the same features and functionalities as its predecessor. This means that it has an impenetrable security mechanism and supports hundreds of digital assets.
As mentioned earlier, Ledger outlined the organization of various crypto assets as the main reason for creating Nano S Color. For instance, investors may opt to store Bitcoin in a black wallet and Ripple on a yellow device. Likewise, different colors may be used to denote the purpose for which the wallet is intended. In this regard, a user may use the yellow wallet for storage purposes and the pink one for tools such as the key manager.
Speaking to Bitsonline, Eric Larchevêque, the CEO of Ledger, said that the Nano S Color will prove useful even to existing Nano S owners. Besides the advantages mentioned above, acquiring this wallet provides a back up to the primary wallet. Thus, all is not lost if the Nano S is stolen.
As expected of new products, the new multi-colored wallet will be sold at discounted prices. Customers who buy a combination of the black wallet and one of the aforementioned colors will get a 20% discount. If they add another color on top of these two, the discount increases to 30%. It is worth noting that this offer does not cove the whitepaper edition of Nano S.
