Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier Says Bull Market Will Come With Security
The cryptocurrency hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has a new CEO called President Pascal Gauthier. He has replaced Eric Larchevêque that will be working as the executive chairman of the board. During a conversation with Breaker, the CEO of Ledger explained that the bull market will come with security.
When Will The Bull Market Start?
During the last months, the cryptocurrency community is wondering when the next bull run will start. Bitcoin (BTC) has been growing in the last weeks and the crypto space is very excited about the future path of the most popular cryptocurrency.
According to the new CEO of Ledger, he has been growing in the company since he invested in the early stages of the firm, which became one of the most respected hardware wallet manufacturers in the whole crypto market. Thus, he became the CEO of the company to execute on Ledger what the firm needs to achieve in the future.
One of the first things that they will be doing is to re-organize the platform in order for the sales, marketing, product and engineer teams to work together side by side. They will make sure that these teams know which are the priorities of the company and how to work into this direction.
Bitcoin is also reaching an end to this crypto winter that started in January 2018 after the bull market in 2017. Several digital currencies lost more than 80% of their value and other projects had to close their businesses. Nonetheless, he does not believe that Bitcoin is in a bull market yet.
On the matter, Gauthier, commented:
“With Vault and the security that we bring to financial institutions, we are in the deployment stage right now. And once it’s deployed, then money will flow in. So I actually think that the bull market is linked to the success of Ledger, in the sense that if you don’t have security, big money won’t be able to flow in.”
About crypto hacking activities, the CEO of Ledger explained that several companies have their processed hacked. However, the technology is not being hacked almost at all. With Ledger Vault, they try to solve companies’ internal issues and improve their security. Additionally, Gauthier, as well as Larchêveque think that technology will be ready in ten years for phones to be able to store and protect cryptocurrencies. He has also mentioned that Ledger is working with several phone manufacturers in order to provide security to crypto users.
