Easy and Fun to Use
The new and exciting application was developed by a series of start-up firms and developers in a bid to establish a new level of scaling for the network. Relatively, Thursday, 22nd of May witnessed the release of the Chrome extension app which will make onboarding much more easy for new users.
Although, there are some concerns here and there because the lightning network is still at the experimental stage and considered risky to use. At the time of its release, the application received a lot of support because it was very easy to set-up and relatively easy to use as long as the user owns a legit twitter account.
Not relenting on their earlier effort, the firm’s developers headed by Sergio Abril decided to create an improved version, which will not only be easy to use, but will also be more friendly than the earlier version.
One of the soothing features in the latest version is that users no longer have to set up a third party lightning wallet application to send tips. The latest version finally got rid of the confusing aspect of the first model, which will not allow you to send a tip if you don’t have an existing lightning wallet application. But with the new version, it is not really important, as long as you have enough balance on Tippin.me
Tippin.me is also giving users a little bit of bitcoin to the newest members, the bitcoin is even enough to send a couple of tips. Interestingly, users can now use ‘’on- chain’’ lightning funds to fill up their tipping jar, and can also send enough messages along with their tips.
In related news, the bitcoin market is gaining momentum every day and a healthy competition is brewing up in the industry, which pundits sees as a good sign, as it will give the customers the option of choice.
Bitcoin Exchange Guide earlier this month reported that Bitcoin.com is launching a peer to peer crypto platform to rival local bitcoins.
The new site called Localbitcoins.com opens the floor with an exciting new offer, which is the peer to peer exchanges, which is unlike its rivals that is mainly one and for now.
The healthy competition is such that developers are trying very hard to beat the others, the new bitcoin platform, through its founder Roger Ver stressed that it is far better than the others because of the privacy features, speed of transactions , custody and low fees and other features.
