Liquality Launches Cross-Chain Atomic Swap Interface for BTC, ETH, DAI
- With the launch of Liquality’s Atomic Swap Interface, users will be able to seamlessly swap their BTC, ETH and DAI tokens with the touch of a button.
- The project’s entire codebase is available on Github for anyone who might be interested in checking it out.
As per an official blog post released yesterday, Liquality has launched an all-new interface for facilitating cross-chain atomic swaps across BTC, ETH and DAI on its mainnet. For those of our readers who may not be aware of what an ‘Atomic Swap’ is, it is essentially a technological pathway that allows users to exchange a particular cryptocurrency for another one — without having to make use of a third-part centralized exchange.
What Is Liquality?
Simply put, one can think of Liquality as being an open-source project that focuses primarily on the creation of novel peer-to-peer crypto exchange solutions. In this regard, it should be pointed out that with the launch of the firm’s Atomic Swap Interface alpha, users will now have the ability to swap their BTC, ETH and DAI holdings between their Ledger and Metamask wallets in a highly streamlined, hassle free manner.
Additionally, by making use of such a framework, Liquality is basically providing its users with complete control over their private keys and custodial data.
Other Details Worth Pointing Out
In order for people to make use of the new interface, they can either choose to run a self-hosted version of the platform or use the downloaded app. Not only that, but Liquality has also put up its codebase on Github for any independent devs who might be interested in checking out the project’s technical nitty gritties.
Liquality has also added support for both “sending and receiving cryptocurrencies” from a single Ledger wallet device.
Within the next 2-3 months, the project’s core dev community is looking to roll out a bunch of new features such as Trezor integration, Segwit support etc on Liquality’s mainnet.
