LiveJasmin Adult Streaming Service to Use PumPay for Cryptocurrency Billing Protocol

PumaPay Will Provide Crypto Billing Protocol To LiveJasmin

LiveJasmin, an important adult live streaming site, has officially announced today that it would start a collaboration with PumaPay, a blockchain project that is focused on creating its own billing infrastructure protocol. The partnership will let LiveJasmin use the PullPayment Protocol to receive payments in the form of crypto from the users.

Basically, this new technology can be used to enable recurring payments and to let users pay subscriptions with cryptos to ensure their anonimity, something that can be very valuable when you are working with this type of industry. Merchants can also use this protocol to save fees and avoid scammy chargebacks, which can also beneficiate them.

This partnership will be LiveJasmin implementing the protocol on all its network of websites and studios. This will be a huge win for PumaPay, as LiveJasmin is not only one of the most important adult sites of the world, but one of the most important sites overall, as it is ranked #33 in the United States and #61 in the global ranking in Alexa.

LiveJasmin has officially affirmed that the services will have an emphasys on recurring payments and that users will be able to pay their subscriptions more easily now using the new technology.

Károly Papp, the Chief Operating Officer of LiveJasmine, defends that being a market leader means that the company has to offer the best for the members and give them options, so anonimity and privacy are very important when it comes to using the site.

PumaPayHas Over 70 Adopters

While the name PumaPay might not be so well-known, the company is building something very relevant. With over 70 companies being early adopters of the protocol (including important names like Pornhub, Rent24, Vivid Entertainment and CCBill), the company has put its name on the map.

The CEO of PumaPay, Yoav Dror, has affirmed that the company hopes to give the control back to the clients while letting they choose how they handle their transactions, which can help them to have more flexibility and will help customers and merchants at the same time.

This technology will enable the customers to use single pull payments, pay-per-use payments and design-your-own payments.

Adult Industry Has Been Adopting Cryptocurrency

It is not a big surprise that the adult industry is so eager to adopt cryptos. They can provide a higher level of anonimity for the clients, so it is natural that many people will be attracted to them, as porn and live sex cams are still a taboo in most countries of the world.

This has led to many ICOs last year that wanted to create specific tokens aimed at solving the problems of the industry, but most of them (as most of the ICOs in general) ended up failing.

One of the most successful ICOs was the one that created SpankChain, an adult industry blockchain network. The network has been hacked, lately, so take all this success with a grain of salt.

Pornhub was one of the adult entertainment companies that actually got the most attention while dealing with cryptos. The company has integrated Verge (XVG) to its user payment systems. While the system was the victim of 51 percent attacks soon afterwards, they continued to use it. The company would integrate Tron (TRX) and ZenCash (ZEN) later.

This means that the adult entertainment industry is now more interested in cryptos. However, it is also important to notice that, with so many companies being hacked, cryptocurrencies are still not 100% secure at the moment.
