Liverpool FC Launches Blockchain Trading App with TigerWit Partnership
Liverpool FC Now An Official Blockchain Affiliate Following Its Partnership With TigerWit
Liverpool FC partnered with one of the blockchain industry players at the moment, TigerWit Limited. The globally recognized firm recently launched a trading application built with the blockchain infrastructure. Its strategic partnership with a big European football club is therefore a marketing avenue for the project.
TigerWit Scaling Its Brand
According to a press release on this collaboration, TigerWit & Liverpool FC are now officially partners. The deal presents a good opportunity for UK-located, TigerWit, to tap more into the market and establish a competitive edge via branding. In addition, the firm will also be able to leverage Liverpool’s hospitality according to the club’s website.
An increased audience via Liverpool’s FC crowd will increase the probability of acquiring interested users to download the trading app. Through this application, users can access commodities like metals & FX just like in today’s Forex market platforms. However, the network has more advanced features in comparison to peer competitors due to blockchain capabilities within its system. The CEO of TigerWit, Tim Hughes, echoed his positive reaction on this milestone,
“Today is a proud day for TigerWit, we are launching our innovative blockchain-based trading app and partnering with Liverpool FC. TigerWit believes in a market that does not discriminate or play favorites.”
Furthermore, Hughes supported the firm’s blockchain approach citing its improved security and transaction efficient protocol compared to the existing networks. In his opinion, trading should be fair to all participants regardless of the position they can accommodate in the market.
Liverpool FC on the other hand expressed their delight in working with TigerWit via its MD, Billy Hogan. Mr. Hogan noted this is the latest partnership for the Club and an avenue to the blockchain world. TigerWit enjoys a good reputation in the foreign exchange arena hence such prospectus partnerships.
Cardiff & Newcastle About To Join The Crypto Bandwagon
Apparently other football clubs apart from Liverpool have their feet in the hot blockchain & cryptocurrency space. According to a reporting by Fox News on 17th September, Cardiff City & Newcastle might join the ICO fund raising avenue. The two entities are in talks with SportyCo at the moment, a crowdfunding & micro-financing start up looking to issue an Initial Coin Offering soon.
