Looking into the Top 10 DApps of 2019 for Ethereum (ETH) , EOS and Tron (TRX)

Decentralized applications, also known as DApps, are open source and decentralized applications with an underlying digital asset that generates tokens and has an inbuilt consensus mechanism. They are widely used in conjunction with blockchain technology and in various industries. This year, though, it seems that such applications have become slightly less popular. In a recent study by LongHash, only about 10 percent of the DApps on Ethereum were used for transactions. This begs the question that if DApp use is in decline, which are the ones that seem to stand out and are widely used. Here is a list of the top 10 DApps of this year.

IDEX is an application that runs on the Ethereum network and is a popular option because of its DEX-centered application. Those who use Ethereum can benefit from the decentralized exchange and the quality that the private keys are controlled by users, and no one else. Where private keys can be used by others, security may be compromised. Further, the exchange allows users to conduct transactions in real time and many of them are based on smart contracts. A few reasons to opt for IDEX are not needing account identification by participants, no intermediary services and thus lower commissions, and high security.

ForkDelta is a decentralized platforms that allows users to conduct trades using both Ethereum tokens and Ethereum-based crypto assets. No authority controls the exchange, which means that neither is there over storing and facilitating transactions. Also, with the increased use of altcoins, the exchange is working to enable their trading on its platform and it also adds new tokens on a daily basis.

Hyperdragon is a online multiplayer role playing game. The platform allows users to breed dragons and sell them on the basis of smart contracts and its underlying blockchain technology. There is also a player versus player fight mode in which users apply their dragon to fight others. Users can also invest in the game. The platform is based on Ethereum ERC-721 tokens so that the virtual experience is unique and dragons can be exchanged or traded. The developers seem quite involved in the game as well – they are looking to schedule sponsored online championships and competitions and the winner can receive money and popularity.

Kyber Network

Kyber Network is a decentralized exchange where users can trade and convert cryptocurrencies instantly. On the platform, transactions are facilitated through smart contracts, funds are not saved on the platform, there is a network of backup operations for transaction liquidity, the platform is quick, and the conversion rate is locked. The last quality is particularly beneficial because it allows users to ensure that they are getting expected quantity for their funds.

Allbet is a platform that focuses particularly on the game ecosystem and DApps. The two main games on the platform are Dice and Poker, and the local token is AB, which has a reserve of 10 billion. There are three competing blockchain networks in which tokens are available, and they include Tron, EOS, and Ethereum. There is also a referral program on the platform in which users can receive rewards for inviting others to the platform.

TRX Market

TRX Market is a combination of a DEX and TRON ecosystem. The platform allows users to trade assets that are on the TRON network and the assets are normally TRX10 standard tokens. The platform also has a high level of inclusivity – it can be used in 22 different languages. The platform’s developers are looking to launch another DApp, called TronWatch and it is currently only available in a test network. One complete, it will be fully available.

Dice 3D

Dice 3D is an online dice game. The platform released its DCX token and there is a 100 million supply of the token. All of the profits on the platform are shared among the clients, which enables customers to feel like they are a part of the platform and that they own it.

EOS Knights

Lastly, EOS Knights is an online role-playing game that is based on blockchain technology and created on the EOS platform. It is a relatively popular one too – around 5,000 gamers use the platform on a daily basis. Using the platform is easy as well – all users need to do is to create an EOS wallet and to set up an account. They can then get involved in the game.

Overall, these are the top 10 DApps of 2019. There are many more out there, but these are the ones that seem to have a high amount of use and popularity among users.
