The game seems to be one of the most interesting blockchain-based RPG developed to date. The creators of the game say that the choice of the users really matters.
About it, they commented:
“We want to focus on an RPG where player choice truly matters. The game boasts a variety of classes with a branching skill system, as well as features designed around fortifications, owning or defending your own slice of the world.”
There are different character classes, in-game weapons and other interesting items that can be obtained by players as they play. Players are also able to select a different number of master professions such as alchemy and weapons smith.
The game is also powered with a virtual currency based on the ERC-20 standard called STEEL (STL). Users can earn this virtual currency during in-game activities. Those who earn these tokens can exchange them for fiat at any time or Ethereum (ETH).
There are other ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens that represent different game elements such as resources, pets and other items. All of them can be traded on the open market. Additionally, an interesting thing to mention is that the game allows users to import their kitties from the CryptoKitties game.
Once the user integrates the kitties, the character can gain unique characteristics based on their DNA. That means that the users will have new combat capabilities or different appearances. With this integration, CryptoKitties might finally have a real use case outside the CryptoKitties platform itself.
By moving onto the Loom Network, the main intention of Coins & Steel is to improve the user experience and security.
At the time of writing, LOOM is the 111 largest virtual currency with a market capitalization of $28 million dollars Each LOOM coin can be purchased for $0.047 dollars.
