Esports Firm, Unikrn Hits the Jackpot with Approved, Isle of Man Crypto Betting License

A new milestone attained by esports firm, Unikrn: getting the necessary crypto betting license from the one and only, Isle of Man according to a report on CCN. The startup that raised nearly 15 million and gained support from big names like Mark Cuban, Ashton Kutcher, Binary and many others also went into the specs of the platform launch.

As per the claims made, users will have far more betting options, which range from events, players and renowned esports activities such as Fortnite, League of Legends and not to mention, Dota 2.

Unikrn’s COO, Andrew Vouris has commented on this accomplishment, which he notes did not come immediately. In particular, he said, “This is long in the making,” adding that there are endless options for currencies being placed for bets. In order to reap the benefits of Unikrn, its native token, UnikoinGold (UKG) will be used and earned.

Apparently, improvements are in the making when it comes to acquiring and transacting with UKG tokens, which will include a Bittrex-powered transaction engine API. CEO of Unikrn, Rahul Sood expressed enthusiasm for what the team has achieved given that the Isle of Man license gives the firm access to a great deal of “global games market that exceeds $30 billion.” In addition, he hinted about Unikrn’s “launch-ready platform” based on a wagering backend, named Unikrn Jet.

Unikrn Jet has been described as the “first of its kind” by the CEO and it supposedly has the power to process over 9000 bets per second. The foundation of Jet is none other than blockchain technology, as its emphasis on speed and security is what allowed for such a high number of bets to be completed.

Sood also revealed that Unikrn is the first ever esports platform that complies by regulatory frameworks, which alone is big news.
