Mark Cuban's Dallas Mavericks, Lympo (LYM) Blockchain Fitness App Team Up

Lympo, a fitness app, has recently announced its partnership with the Dallas Mavericks, as a way of providing fitness fanatics who use the app with a wide range of benefits to take advantage of. The blockchain-based app supposedly is keen in introducing a way for users to pay for tickets to see the Dallas Mavericks through LYM tokens, which are earned as a reward for taking part in physical activities.

Lympo is one of the fewest fitness-related apps that works towards incentivizing and motivating its users to ensure that their fitness goals are attained. Apparently, every time a user burns a set number of calories or inserts that a visit to the gym was made, he or she will receive a crypto, namely, the LYM token.

The accumulated tokens can then be used to purchase essentials that will maximize one’s chances of achieving weight management goals. Lympo has the bragging rights, as it has reached over 500 fitness trainers and token holders. All of which has been attained even prior to its official launch.

As for the partnership, the Dallas Mavericks team owner, Mark Cuban has expressed increased enthusiasm, as he strongly believes that the app satisfies their core values. In particular, he stated that

“The team found clear alignment with Lympo’s mission to create a healthier world by using the latest technology to encourage fitness and healthy living in a whole new way.”

The three-year deal with the professional basketball team allegedly consists of fitness challenges based on the Mavericks and ensures that the team’s uniforms have the Lympo logos on them.

Lympo is clearly in it to win it, as the Dallas Mavericks was not their first partnership, it was with Danish tennis player, Caroline Wozniacki – who takes on the role of the international ambassador for Lympo. This has been welcomed by both her fans and Lympo, as it invites fitness fanatics globally while introducing the first-ever female endorsed sports app.

With Lympo’s launch set in the fall, the anticipation appears to be high, as consumers believe that this app can provide useful information and rewards while exercising. Its overall ecosystem is said to be beneficial to the sports market, as they will be provided with the necessary data to create products that will benefit exercisers.
