CEO of MasBitcoin Ponzi Scheme Finds Bodyguards Gunned Down in Mexico
Cryptocurrency scams have been expanding everywhere around the world, in Asia, Europe, Africa, the United States and Latin America. One of the latests disturbing stories in the crypto world is related to what happened to MasBitcoin CEO’s bodyguards, who have been shot down in Mexico.
The information has been uploaded to Facebook in a video recorded by Jorge Sanchez. The CEO of MasBitcoin can be seen covered in blood and with a bulletproof vest. According to him, two of his bodyguards have been shot and killed by other individuals.
MasBitcoin was a scam that operated since 2017 and promised important investment returns for those who participated. Those affiliated who invested in bitcoin were promised 5% daily ROI for 40 days – something that just a scam could offer. Moreover, pyramid referral commissions were also paid directly through binary and matrix teams.
In 2018, as there were less investors trying to place their money in MasBitcoin, the pyramid scheme collapsed. Between February and March, MasBitcoin informed its users that the services were not going to be offered anymore.
The company informed its users about the decision to end its operations as follows:
“We write to you, to inform you of the closure of our company, this process will start March 21st, 2018, the accumulation of the passive yield is stopped as of this day.”
The post uploaded on Masbitcoin’s website says that the company will be doing everything as possible so as to give back the investors’ money.
In the video uploaded by Mr. Sanchez he vowed for revenge and that this situation will not remain without being solved. This suggests that Sanchez could know who is behind the attack. At the moment, local authorities are investigating the case so as to discover who was behind the attack.
