Medicalchain Opens MyClinic a Telemedic Platform for Patient Consults
Telemedic Platform MyClinic.com by Medicalchain
Just like the cryptocurrency and blockchain industries, the medical industry is doing well too. One company is taking care of the latest developments in each industry. Medicalchain, a UK-healthcare blockchain company has recently launched a new platform called MyCliinic, which is designed to ensure that patients are able to get the foremost care from medical professionals.
For example, MyClinic enables patients to complete video consultations with medical professionals and to process payments with the platform’s coin, called MedTokens.
The company’s most recent press release notes that it is working to build better relationships between doctors and their patients. With the close proximity, quick access, and in-depth care, patients may be able to get the full support that they need for quality outcomes. According to Abdullah Albeyatti, the Co-Founder and CEO of Medicalchain, “MyClinic.com will be piloted with patients registered at The Groves Medical Practice and The Groves’ General Practitioners , from July 2018, and will be launched to the general public later this year.’
Blockchain technology is set to be incorporated into the platform by the blockchain-based Health Passport. This system utilizes Hyperledger Fabric so that patients can have immediate access to personal records and information. This type of system eliminates the transparency involved and allows patients to receive the quality care that they deserve.
Additionally, Medicalchain’s future applications may work in a similar fashion. The company is currently working to design a health data marketplace, giving patients the opportunity to monetize their healthcare records by giving research companies access to the data. In addition, those who are concerned about their identity will find that the entire system keeps them anonymous.
