Meet 3 New Crypto Exchanges: Korea’s Probit, Hong Kong’s Bitone Trade and Indonesia’s Huobi
The cryptocurrency ecosystems continues to expand everywhere around the world. This time, new cryptocurrency exchanges are starting their operations in Hong Kong, Korea and Indonesia.
Bitone Trade HK, which is affiliated to a Japanese company that is listed publicly, will be supporting 30 different virtual currencies. Additionally, Huobi Indonesia will be listing 123 coins. The South Korean exchange Probit will list over 157 coins.
According to an official announcement made by Bit One Hong Kong Limited on September 6, the Bitone Trade HK platform will be rolled out during the current month.
The company explained that the platform will support 30 different cryptocurrencies. In the future, there would be more than 100 coins listed.
The company explained on the matter:
“Our platform is launched in Hong Kong which is Asia’s international financial center and we provide customers with stable and secure services. Mainly for the Asian market, our goal is to achieve a monthly transaction volume of US$ 5 billion.”
The next, exchange, Huobi, decided to launch a ceremony on Friday September 7 in order to unveil the Indonesian exchange. The company partnered with Asia Financial Group. The platform is built on top of Huobi Cloud Platform and will be listing 123 cryptocurrencies.
The base virtual currencies are USDT, BTC and ETH.
In Korea, the news outlet Chosun, reported on September 5 that Probit will be launching in October by Probit Private Limited. The exchange will be supporting 157 cryptocurrencies and 8 different languages such as English, Korean or Chinese.
The exchange could handle over 1.5 million orders per second. In terms of security, the company explained that they store 95% of the assets in cold wallets so as to prevent hacking or theft. There are other security layers that will be implemented such as 2FA.
Moreover, Probit announced that it wants to provide a virtual currency trading platform with an important level of security that other companies do not offer.
Finally, Coinone launched its operations in Indonesia. Coinone is one of the most important and largest cryptocurrency exchanges in South Korea. Aftera beta testing, the company decided to launch the exchange in Indonesia. The maker fee is 0.25% and taker fee 0.3%.
