Modex Launches An Enterprise Blockchain Deployment Pilot With Major Energy Producer Dietsmann
Modex, a blockchain solutions firm, released its Blockchain Database (BCDB) platform to ease out the deployment of blockchain technology across corporations and enterprises. Oil and gas firm, Dietsmann, becomes one of the first enterprises to use the platform to deploy a blockchain.
In a press release published on Sept 22, Modex announced the launch of its Modex BCDB platform and one of its largest partners, Dietsmann. The platform is set to minimize the effort and time required by enterprises to launch permissioned or permissionless blockchains from weeks to days. The energy maintenance and operations firm is expected to launch a private blockchain on Modex BCDB in a bid to reduce developmental costs and the effort from the technical team.
Modex BCDB ensures a transparent, secure, immutable and increased auditability across enterprises. The platform allows an easy blockchain integration with the company’s existing database and the transfer and recording of data across the Modex BCDB and the existing database. The platform is patented offering greater security measures for the enterprises without sacrificing user-friendliness.
BCDB also enables enterprises to easily permission data based on employee needs or regulatory compliance.
Comments on the Launch of Modex BCDB
Speaking on the launch of Modex BCDB, the CEO and Founder of Modex, Mihai Ivascu, showed delight at the new enterprise blockchain solution. Ivascu further commented on the focus on enterprise solutions. He said,
“We’ve developed Modex BCDB specifically with enterprise needs in mind in order to counteract the high barriers to adoption that have typically kept businesses on the sidelines. Our platform and customers prove that it is possible to leverage the benefits of a blockchain database without long development timelines or high implementation and consulting costs.”
Peter Kutemann, President and Founder of Dietsmann, echoed the praise for blockchain providing
“cutting edge technologies that will significantly benefit Dietsmann’s Data Lab.”
The company is looking forward to better the transfer and storage of sensitive client information and the overall interactions with their clients and suppliers. He further said,
“Modex Blockchain Database infrastructure allows Dietsmann to be up and running on a private blockchain infrastructure at low cost in a matter of days, with high efficiency and minimal effort from our technical team.”
