Monero (XMR) Gains Bitcoin (XMR/BTC) and Ethereum (XMR/ETH) Pairs on KuCoin Exchange

The latest announcement from KuCoin cryptocurrency exchange confirms the addition of Monero (XMR) on the platform. The official announcement made on the official KuCoin updates page further stated XMR will gain the Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) pairs as a start. More pairs to follow.

Monero is currently the 13th largest cryptocurrency on the Coinmarketcap charts with a total market capitalization of $906 million USD. The privacy coin has gained massive support from the cryptocurrency community with the XMR community growing in numbers as well. This listing on one of the most popular cryptocurrency exchanges opens up a new market for the community to trade. The tweet read,

The announcement also confirmed that deposits were enabled immediately and withdrawals will be enabled on March 28th 2019 at 1300H [UTC +3].

The news comes barely weeks after Monero (XMR) gained more listings on the largest cryptocurrency exchange by daily volumes traded, Binance exchange. The addition of Binance coin (BNB) and Tether (USDT) pairs on the exchange opens a new channel to obtain XMR.

The adoption of XMR is growing as regulations from governments and regulatory authorities beckon on the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. Monero formed a partnership with Tor browser earlier in the month to allow users on the platform to make donations through the private coin.

The KuCoin shares (KCS) have performed incredibly in the past month as the exchange announced a number of token additions and the launch of its first project in the Spotlight platform.
