MoonBanking: Top Crypto-Friendly Bank Rankings In The World?

Moon Banking is a cryptocurrency ranking service that highlights cryptocurrency friendly banks. The platform is integrated with its own API, which is one of the world’s first production API fully funded by the Lightning Network. Currently, the platform has bank ranking for 69 countries with over 3900 votes.

About Moon Banking

The Moon Banking platform was mainly created with the aim of unifying information about the crypto friendliness of banks especially in cases where the users wants to open a bank account. Previously, information was scattered all over the internet and it proved cumbersome to go through all the information.

The Moon Banking API enables users to share their stories about their banking experiences to other users. The users can then rank banks and stores through a simplified thumbs up or thumbs down voting system. The Moon Banking API is deployed on the Bitcoin Test Network and is supported by donations from its users who contribute through the Bitcoin payments that are transferred on the Lightning Network mainnet.

Worldwide Rating

Based on the user’s votes, Moon Banking scores the worldwide banks depending on their crypto friendliness. Additionally, the bank votes are aggregated in order to show the crypto friendliness of all the banks around the world. Each user on Moon Banking is only allowed one vote to prevent spam votes that may provide biased rankings.

Through the Banking Moon API, users can add data about the countries, friendliness of banks, their countries in regards to the crypto regulations, and the world in general using their products or services. Users can also use the Banking moon API to advertise their products and services. All the API and adverts on banking moon are funded by bitcoin via the Lightening Network Payments. The network is also used by Banking Moon to create invoices for all the payments received.

How Does Moon Banking API Work?

In order to use Moon Banking data in the user’s products and services, the user is required to send a request to the Banking Moon API and each request will cost around $0.0001 USD ($1 per 10,000 requests).

Access to the API will be granted after the user has selected how much quota they want and make the bitcoin payment through the lightening network. The quota can then be added to the API key at any time.

In case the user loses the API key after they have paid for the quota, they can retrieve the API key by locating the order number on the Lightning Network invoice and inputting it on the lost key of the Moon Banking websites.
