Morgan Creek Digital Asset Founder is Selling His Orange Lamborghini for Bitcoin to Buy More BTC
The founder of Morgan Creek Capital Management, Jason Williams, has decided to sell his Lamborghini for Bitcoin (BTC). Apparently, the investor wants to receive a good amount of Bitcoin and store them for when its price will grow up once again in the future.
After a long 2018 in which crypto prices fell more than 80%, it seems that Lambo users want to buy Bitcoin rather than spending them to buy a new luxury car.
On the matter, he wrote:
“I’m going to do something that has never been done in crypto. I’m going to sell my Lamborghini and buy Bitcoin. Offers in BTC accepted.”

Several individuals started to comment under his Tweet with jokes about the bear market in 2018 or if he would accept a bag of altcoins for it. Another interested user from Chile asked if he would be able to send the Lambo to Chile, to what he replied that for the right amount of BTC he would do it.
Even Fluffy Pony commented under his post. Fluffy Poni is Riccardo Spagni, the founder of the privacy-focused virtual currency Monero (XMR).
Good move, Huracans are awful investments. Unless it’s a Performante, then there’s a limited audience in the future. But seriously, better to get rid of it.

At the end of 2017, Bitcoin was traded for $20,000, reaching its all-time high since it was created ten years ago. Since that moment Bitcoin dropped more than 80% and other altcoins fell even more, in some cases they’ve registered more losses of more than 95%.
Back in 2017 and the beginning of 2018, several individuals and investors that entered the market before 2017 were able to purchase Lamborghinis and other luxury cars. There were even memes related to this situation in which users were able to purchase these Lambos with the profits made in virtual currencies.
At the moment, there are several individuals and experts that believe that the market bottomed or is close to reaching its lowest point. That could be a good moment for entering the space, investing in digital assets and wait for the next bull run in the near future.
Indeed, a Twitter user answered him that he did a smart move because he can bu multiple Lambos later with the BTC he would receive for the car.
