MySpace CEO Talks Bitcoin Being The First And How New Cryptocurrencies Are Being Overlooked
MySpace CEO: BTC Brand-Recognized Brand In Crypto
MySpace’s CEO, Michael Jones, has received attention lately for his comments concerning bitcoin. In a podcast interview with Anthony Pompliano, Jones discussed that he believes that there are upcoming cryptocurrencies that are not receiving due attention. He also touched upon his experience, stating that the cryptocurrency is similar to a famous product that such products do not always win. Those who are familiar with bitcoin see it as a brand widely accepted in the cryptocurrency sphere.
Further, even if Bitcoin had a faster transit mechanism and other, perhaps better features, bitcoin would always be the product of choice. He also discussed that bitcoin is more valuable than people speculate and it has long-lasting power. In his words,
“But for the general person, if they’re going to enter into crypto, I still think they’re probably going to enter into bitcoin and if a normal place is going to accept a payment system in crypto, they’re probably going to start with Bitcoin and it doesn’t mean that bitcoin is the best.”
Jones also touched upon bitcoin’s impact on the cryptocurrency space – there are many other coins out there that are viable and great options, but that may not receive the consideration due to them because bitcoin is overshadowing. Cryptocurrency has developed into a mass brand that that may be difficult for any small-scale cryptocurrency to unseat.
