NASGO Blockchain dApp Joins Media For Social Impact Summit Event

Media for Social Impact, which is an initiative created by the United Nations Office for Partnerships and the PVBLIC Foundation, will hold an event on September 6, 2018, the fifth annual Summit for Social Impact. The theme of the summit will be “Data for Good”.

The main objective of the Media for Social Impact Summit is to unite the top media and tech leaders around the world with United Nations executives to communicate and form alliances and that can create partnerships that will last and sustainable development goals for the world. The summit showcases innovative campaigns and movements.

There will be keynotes, interviews, case studies and roundtables to let all of the invited forge partnerships and build relations that will further progress. The event will have executives from big data, journalism, film, social media, advertising, technology and entertainment which are engaged in shaping society.

NASGO Joins The Event

This year, NASGO, a leading blockchain company that offers decentralized apps will be joining the summit to advance the availability of decentralized apps (dapps) for everyone in the world and, this way, spread the blockchain technology further. The company will also talk about the advances that tokenization is making to support philanthropy and other humanitarian goals.

During the event, NASGO will show some of its platforms like Do Something Athletic and Crowdaa, a crowd management platform. These platforms are being used to help celebrities like the nephew of Michael Jackson. Jafaar Jackson, to tokenize his new album release.

Jackson will also participate in the event and will talk about how he plans to use the technology to advance social causes and to create a positive impact. According to him, he wants to continue the legacy of his grandfather Michael Jackson, which was one of the most influential advocates for social impact during his lifetime.

The chairman of the PVBLIC Foundation, Sergio Fernandez de Cordova, has stated that the foundation welcomes NASGO for its leadership and embracing technology for positive changes. Do Something Athletic (DSA) and Crowdaa are platforms created in a partnership with NASGO. DSA is for youth sports that wish to connect with athletes, parents, coaches to share and talk about sports. Crowdaa is a crowd management decentralized app that allows content creators to interact and receive revenue for their fanbase.
