Nervos Blockchain Network Releases Rylai Testnet as Part of Its Common Knowledge Base
Nervos has just gone head to announce their new launch of the testnet that they call Rylai. The Nervos platform has been designed as a layered blockchain network, one that can support the decentralized economy.
It is live and ready for use
The Rylai has undergone about 15 months of development, and it is finally available and open to the miners, developers together with the blockchain enthusiasts within the community. It is the first kind of implementation done on the Common Knowledge Base (CKB) of the Nervos platform.
The CKB is established as a permissionless blockchain system that is at the core of the Nervos platform, one that is acting as the standard knowledge layer and has been designed to be extremely secure. A censorship-resistant system, which will serve as the decentralized custodian of crypto and value assets.
Thus, having the Nervos CKB develope the new launch of the testenet it will allow it to tap into the blockchain effectively and the developer communities to help in the production of its code. This way, it will get it to be a production ready state. And the team behind the platform is anticipating to see significant changes to take place just before the official launch of the mainnet.
Once it is launched, as a CKB user you should be able to run the nodes and efficiently mine the tokens, while still learning more about the CKB.
‘’The entirety of the design of the CKB has been finalized, and the design details have been honed and refined. After 30 iterations of Rylai, we’re proud to announce our first testnet release. We welcome everyone to try mining and sending transactions on the CKB as we continue iterating through the launch of the mainnet. With the feedback we receive, we’ll be able to improve the programming model to make the CKB more developer-friendly and implement a new PoW mining algorithm. This testnet represents a significant accomplishment for everyone working on Nervos Network as well as our supporters around the world. It is a key step forward on the path toward Nervos Network’s ultimate goal of enabling a truly decentralized economy.’’ Nervos Chief Architect Jan Xie.
