New Crypto Community Rumor Says Tron Foundation and ChainLink have Partnered Up
Tron (TRX) and Chainlink (LINK) Partner to be Announced?
Partnerships between cryptocurrency platforms are fairly common, helping to further innovation and increase productivity in the efforts of both. Tron Foundation has certainly had its share of partnerships, but LINK News Oracle on Twitter is suggesting that they may enter one more involving ChainLink.
Still unconfirmed but possible @Tronfoundation + @chainlink partnership being announced tomorrow. This email was supposedly sent by the $TRX foundation.#Chainlink can trigger #SmartContracts on any #Blockchain.

Be cautious here folks. This is unconfirmed and speculation at this point.

LINK News Oracle is careful to point out that this collaboration is “speculation,” at this point, considering that neither party has confirmed it. Based on the post from the news media website, any confirmation would likely not be until the prospective announcement tomorrow anyway, if there is a partnership at all. It is worth noting that ChainLink Market posted a welcome announcement on their Twitter profile, though this is not the official page for ChainLink.
The possibility of this connection has been enough to reach out to other social media platforms as well, like Reddit. One user teased that the community should “be on the lookout” for some kind of announcement from the platforms by 8:00 am PST tomorrow. The user alleges that there is a solution that ChainLink introduces with the Smart Contract Connectivity Problem and that TRON’s decision to collaborate comes from their expansion of the dApp framework.
At this point, nothing has even been posted to the ChainLink Twitter page in the last few days with any mention of Tron Foundation, which could be for many various reasons. Tron’s Twitter page has been mostly filled with announcements of today’s airdrop, and ChainLink is omitted from their posts as well.
The question is… Is this a real pre-announcement or is the crypto community getting their hopes up? What's your take on the rumor?
