New “Crypto Dictionary” Called Decryptionary Helps Investors with Cryptocurrency Terms and Definitions
As the cryptocurrency industry expands, more investors are getting interested, some of which are potential investors with no knowledge of the industry whatsoever. To help with orientation on the industry should they want to venture into it, a new dictionary of crypto terms known as Decryptionary has been introduced.
This is a simple dictionary that defines the most basic, commonly used cryptocurrency terms in simple language to bring new investors with no knowledge of crypto to speed. Users can easily search for terms relating to cryptocurrency and blockchain using a search bar in the phone/computer based dictionary and even suggest words they can’t find in the dictionary.
Apart from the definition of terms, the dictionary also has simple visuals and walkthroughs to help users understand every important information you need to know about the industry. The creator of the dictionary and crypto fan Dani Amsalem says the idea behind the project is to simplify the complex terms used in the industry.
He spoke on how the project came about:
“The words used in articles, websites and in forums to describe and share cryptocurrencies have become littered with confusing words. As I began to study different cryptocurrencies and dive into the subject I got lost in the terms.
“I decided to pull myself out by researching all of the common terms I came across. I wanted to put it into a spreadsheet and share that with a couple of friends who were also trading crypto. They thought it was a great idea and I decided to turn it into a legitimate website,” he added.
The visuals in the dictionary include stick figure illustrations. With these figures and the clarity each defined term has, it is not necessary to consult other dictionaries to discover the meaning of words. You can go here and start using the dictionary right away https://decryptionary.com/dictionary/
With this kind of innovation, new investors as well as crypto enthusiasts can now navigate the industry more easily without having to struggle with the meaning of words and information posted on several websites.
This is a potentially great boost for interest in the industry and also an open door to encourage participation as well.
Although not open source, the creator of Decryptionary is available 24/7 and can be reached if users find any issues with the dictionary for an immediate fix in order to improve it for the best user experience.
