A new game has been released to the NEM (XEM) network. The classic Pac-Man that gave hours of funny moments to millions of individuals all over the world is now on the blockchain. The game will be known as PacNEM and is a free and open-source Node.s autonomous browser game.
In order to authenticate players or have game-credits stored, the game relies on the NEM blockchain network.
On Twitter NEM’s official account published the information about the PacNEM game on December 1st.
The main intention is to show how easy is to use NEM and start playing a blockchain-based game.
The PacNEM introduction reads as follows:
“This game will reflect how easy it is to use NEM in your applications or games business layers and will emphasize the easy Setup for sponsoring and advertising Software in the Gaming industry using the NEM Blockchain as well as Instant Payments.”
In order to play, users have to enter a new username and join a room. It is very straightforward and it would allow individuals to have a nice time playing Pac-Man. Users also have to add a a XEM address to be charged a nominal amount in a pay-per-play format.
